Unidentified Futures Org. operates at the convergence of art, design, and environmental science, transforming complex data into compelling visualizations of possible planetary futures. In 2024 we produced our first report, highlighting concerns in relation to a dolerite quarry. Northside (22/01909/CCMEIA) is a plan which will result in the discharge of wastewater into the River Wansbeck, the loss of endangered waxcap grassland, and threatens 26 at-risk species.

Unidentified Futures Org produces work for the inclusive use of non-humans and humans. The visualisations, data analyses, and future scenarios presented here represent rigorous synthesis of current scientific data, artistic interpretation, and speculative design thinking.
